Congratulations to our very talented friend Tazeen Zahida for such a beautiful production “Relax Mrs.Khan”. It was such a real & touchy topic. All the actors did a phenomenal job but, Mrs.Khan Sumbla Khan you were simply marvelous. Great acting!
“Berbardians was a wonderful play. Very good mix of Shakespeare’s characters in a Desi situation, I’ve seen two plays of Tazeen and I think she’s doing an amazing job to promote south Asian plays and south Asian work. Best of luck to her upcoming shows and I hope she continues to do such wonderful plays.”
Siraj Narsi

Shahid Iqbal
“Congratulations to Ms Tazeen Zahida, for an outstanding play Berbardians. The most important thing that we should be proud of is that our community has reached this level of being in the mainstream MATCH theatre. It wasn’t possible sometime back.”
“We just saw the show Berbardians. It was so great to be here. So I am visiting from England, obviously Shakespeare’s land so it was really cool to see that mixture of all of Shakespeare’s heroes and get that insight into Houston life and the migrant experience over here. It was really funny and really thought provoking, erm yes it was really fun, so creative. I love that mix.”

“I am so proud of all of you and your acting! I think that play needs to be played again for families who are unaware of dementia and stuff! I am glad you invited me🥰”
Audience
“The play was very educational and touched my heart. I thank you and your family for allowing me to share the special moments with you”
Mr. Theo
“I love the message of self love. Adeeba wasn’t held back by anyone. She was a self made and resourceful woman. Although I love the time I can dedicate to my son this story encourages me to make myself a priority as well. I shouldn’t have to feel shame for working towards my personal goals as a single mom.”
Audience
“The reminder that my own parents are getting old was needed. Whatever time we have together is a blessing and they deserve to be honored for all of their sacrifices for us. We all come to earth with an expiration date. This play has encouraged me to elevate mundane every day experiences and accept them as gifts. The gift of time is so precious yet we tend to waste it on things that don’t matter. Balance is crucial.”
Audience
“Thank you so much for giving me these realizations. ❤️”
